The Vision:
Out There Together
For the outdoors to be the G.O.A.T., it has to be a place that welcomes everyone. In pursuit of that goal, we created Breaking Trail, a project that helps break down the barriers people face in feeling like they belong outside. We kicked off by bringing together our first group of Trailbreakers: our partners helping us work toward a more inclusive outdoors.

Founder @rongriswell supports the growth of outdoor clubs and leaders at Historically Black Colleges & Universities through HBCUs Outside.
  Jaylyn Gough 
@jaylyn.gough founded Native Women’s Wilderness to increase the number of Native Women represented in the outdoor industries.
Cali Wolf
As Coordinating Director of Native Women’s Wilderness, @caliwolf helps indigenous women and two-spirit folx return to ancestral land.
  Kareemah Batts 
@herhopness founded Adaptive Climbing Group to help paraclimbers get on the wall—indoors and out—and experience the joy of climbing.
José Gonzaléz
@josebilingue increases representation in outdoor experiences, conservation, and environmental education as the Founder of Latino Outdoors.
  Juju Milay 
As the Founder of Colour The Trails, @jujumil creates spaces that feel more welcoming to both the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
