Sustainability is at the core of what we do. Every decision we make—from fabric sourcing to small inventory runs to packaging—is about building long-lasting products in a better way. That applies to everything we make, including the basics. Check out The Heavy Bag Tee below, a staple of our casual wardrobe, to see the careful choices that go into building a better shirt.

This approach, which we affectionately reference when we say “Responsibly Built for the Long Haul” means not only reducing environmental impact in our sourcing and production, but making clothes that last and get better with age so that you can buy less and wear more. Our denim lineup is notable for wearing in rather than wearing out thanks to its classic styling and rugged construction.

Now, of course, responsibility is not only relevant when talking about agriculture, chemicals, and water waste; we also extend this focus to our people. This means ensuring that all of our partners provide their teams with safe working conditions, fair pay, and benefits.

Lastly, how your clothes get to you matters. Not only do we use compostable shipping bags, we also offset our carbon emissions.  Since beginning this initiative, we have offset 411.26 tons of CO₂e, equal to the carbon absorbed by 504 acres of forest over one year.
